2. HOW DOES NIELEN SCHUMAN OBTAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
By visiting (one of) the Nielen Schuman Websites, contacting us or doing business with us, you may provide us with Personal Data. This Privacy Statement is applicable to the processing by Nielen Schuman of such Personal Data.

5. ON WHAT LEGAL GROUNDS DOES NIELEN SCHUMAN USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Nielen Schuman will only provide you with direct marketing e-mails (e.g. an e-newsletter) when you are an existing relation or after it has obtained your prior explicit consent to receive such e-marketing communications. 6. HOW DOES NIELEN SCHUMAN SECURE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Nielen Schuman takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, and against all other unlawful forms of processing. Examples of such measures are the implementation of a secure IT infrastructure, the conclusion of data processing agreements with third parties and the restriction of access to personal data to authorized persons only.

7. WHO DOES NIELEN SCHUMAN SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH?

8. HOW LONG WILL NIELEN SCHUMAN RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Nielen Schuman shall retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which your Personal Data is collected. The criteria Nielen Schuman uses to determine the applicable retention period include: the term of your agreement with Nielen Schuman, the term of your (ongoing) relationship with Nielen Schuman and Nielen Schuman’s legal and contractual obligations.

9. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?
As set forth in the GDPR, you have the right to request from Nielen Schuman access to and rectification or erasure of your Personal Data or restriction of the processing of your Personal Data or to object to the processing of your Personal Data, as well as the right to data portability.
Where Nielen Schuman processes your Personal Data on the basis of your consent you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Such withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
